Refunds & Cancellation

The Genvap editor is free, and you can preview exactly what you're making before you pay anything — exports are watermarked until they're paid for. That's deliberate: you should never be buying something you haven't already seen.

• One-off exports are charged per image or per video. They don't expire and there's nothing to cancel.
• The Unlimited subscription is $12 per month for unlimited watermark-free exports.

The subscription renews automatically every month at $12 until you cancel. Your card is charged at the start of each period, and Stripe emails you a receipt each time. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee.

Open the pricing page while signed in and choose Manage subscription. That opens Stripe's billing portal, where you can cancel or change your card in a couple of clicks. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for — you keep unlimited exports until then, and you're not charged again.

If you can't get to the portal for any reason, email splintsite@gmail.com and we'll cancel it for you.

We'll refund you in full if:

• An export you paid for failed, or came out corrupted or watermarked when it shouldn't have been.
• You were charged twice for the same thing, or charged after cancelling.
• You subscribed within the last 14 days and haven't used a watermark-free export in that time.
• We materially reduce what a paid subscription includes, or stop offering the service — in which case we refund the unused part of the period automatically.

Outside those cases, one-off exports and subscription periods you've already used aren't refundable, because the export has been delivered and the editor let you see exactly what you were buying first. We'd still rather hear from you than have you feel stuck — if something went wrong, email us and we'll look at it properly.

If you live in the UK or EU, your statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days applies. You may be asked to acknowledge that for a digital download you receive immediately, that right ends once the download starts.

Email splintsite@gmail.com with the email address on the account and roughly when the charge happened. We aim to reply within a few days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe, and usually appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
